Topshop and Topman open Los Angeles Flagship
Los Angelinos will get an added Valentine's Day treat when a new West Coast Topshop flagship opens at The Grove on February 14.
Hot on the heels of the news that Topshop will be popping up in Paris, comes the announcement that the famous London retailer and brother brand Topman are set to open a Los Angeles flagship store.
The two-story, 30,000-square ft (2787 sq m) flagship store, housing both brands, will appear on a corner site on First Street and Gilmore Way at The Grove, Los Angeles on February 14.
Owner Sir Philip Green was enthusiastic: ''Los Angeles is a particularly exciting opening for Topshop and Topman. I am confident that we will deliver unique and authoritative British fashion to the many customers who are already fans of the brands, whilst giving many others the chance to try us out for the first time."
This latest opening will be celebrated with a traditional British street party packed with free treats, live music and special guests.
The Topshop area will feature all the key line - Unique (shown every season at London Fashion Week), the second Topshop x J.W Anderson collaboration, Boutique (the brand's premium limited edition line) and the main Spring Summer 2013 line. Actress Kate Bosworth, who recently featured in the brand's Christmas campaign, has also hand-picked an exclusive LA collection.
It's not all about the girls though. Topman will host the Design collection direct from the runways of the London Collections: Men, the standard Topman line as well as the Premium and Super Premium tailoring ranges.
The LA store will also feature the global debut of the sporty ‘LUX' collection created by the in-house design team in London.
