In her tweet uploaded yesterday, she even compared Ali to a few great footballers, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Maradona and Lionel Messi.
She later explained why she made the mistake, and it was because she confused him with football extraordinaire, Pele.
According to Patel, she is a cricket fan and hasn't been following other kind of sports.
