When having good intentions pays off

For Fadzilah Hanim Halib, all she wanted to do was to share whatever good fortune that comes her way with her sister.

When she entered a contest in Tesco which offered a voucher worth RM1,000 as a prize, she had her elder sister in mind. Her sister was going through tough times, supporting her husband who is suffering from leukemia, and their mother who is staying with them.

Being a trader who shops at Tesco regularly, Fadzilah had her heart set on helping her sister, but she knew the odds of winning the voucher was just the same as any other Tesco shopper.

So it came as a complete shock when she learned that she had won, just in time for Aidilfitri, too.
