IJM Corporation Berhad, the concessionaire of the Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA), New Pantai Expressway (NPE) and the Kajang-Seremban Expressway (LEKAS), is offering 10 per cent discount in toll rate on the respective highways in conjunction with Christmas this Sunday.
IJM Toll Division chief operating officer Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff, in a statement Thursday, said the discount would take effect from 12.01 am on Sunday at all the BESRAYA and NPE toll plazas, as well as at the Ampangan toll plaza on LEKAS.
"The discount offer is a social corporate responsibility initiative. The toll discount has become a trend on our expressways to show our appreciation and reduce the burden of motorists," she said.
She advised motorists to ensure their vehicles were in safe condition and to plan their journey.
For a comfortable journey, she advised motorists travelling to the south to use LEKAS, and those going east to use BESRAYA's new Eastern Extension from Salak Selatan or Jalan Istana to MRR2 through Loke Yew Toll Plaza. - Bernama
