10 pct discount for motorists using KLK, ECE1 during Aidilfitri
The discount is part of ANIH Berhad's social responsibility to users of KLK and ECE1 as well as a token of appreciation.
Motorists using Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway (KLK) and East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (ECE1) who pay toll electronically will enjoy a 10 percent discount in conjunction with Aidilfitri.
Director of ANIH Berhad, the toll concession company for KLK and ECE2, Nik Fauzi Nik Hussein said the discount is offered for 24 hours starting July 6 (12am Wednesday).
"The discount is part of ANIH Berhad's social responsibility to users of KLK and ECE1 and a token of appreciation to the people who always support our highway network services," he said in a statement Sunday.
Nik Fauzi said 264,258 vehicles are expected to use KLK and ECE1 during peak hours on July 1-3 and July 8-10.
"It is an increase of 87 percent compared to 141,000 vehicles per day on regular days," she said.
