The Blok N longhouse in Uma Badeng, Sungai Koyan in Belaga near here was razed iin a fire today leaving 112 people homeless.
Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department operations officer, Mohd Ishak Imran said it was a 15-door longhouse and that no one was injured in the incident which happened at about 5.30pm.
Firefighters arrived at about 5.45pm and managed to bring the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, he told Bernama.
He said the location was a Kenyah community settlement with a number of longhouses.
