Thirteen people who were detained for questioning after a man was found shot dead at a house in Cheras early Friday, have been remanded for seven days, beginning Saturday.
Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said the 11 men and two women were believed to have been involved in an illegal organisation.
"We are conducting an indepth investigation into the activities of the organisation, involvement of the suspects and the motive behind the murder," he told Bernama here.
According to initial police investigations, one of the suspects was the prime suspect in the killing of the 39-year-old victim.
The man was found dead with a gunshot wound in the forehead at the house in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, 9th Mile, Cheras.
He was believed to have arrived at the house about midnight to discuss a matter with 11 other men, including the house owner. -- Bernama
