13-year-old girl still missing

It has been more than 24 hours and Aliaa Syafiqah Nazar has yet to be found.

The 13-year-old girl was reportedly last seen at her school in Sungai Tangkas, Bangi, around 7.50am yesterday.

Aliaa's father, Juahari Nazar, when contacted today said, a police report has been filed last night and police investigation is ongoing.

"We tried to search for her and talked to her friends, but no one seems to know where she is," he said.

Efforts to track down Aliaa's phone signals and activities to trace her location have so far proved futile.

Reports of Aliaa's disappearance went viral on social media, including Facebook and WhatsApp, since last night.

Juahari is pleading to members of the public to contact their family at 018-662 4450, 018-510 6343 or 019-653 6343 should they have any information on her whereabouts.
