14 year-old boy found dead in Kamunting

The body of a 14-year-old boy was found in some bushes behind a building in Taman Mewah, Kamunting, Taiping this morning. Taiping police chief ACP Yusuf Mohd Diah said the body of M. Nathaniel with several wounds believed inflicted by sharp object was found by the public at about 7.50am. "The victim is believed to be a form two student at a secondary school in Taiping," he added. The motive is still unknown and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. The body was sent to Taiping Hospital for autopsy.
