15 fishermen feared missing after boat capsizes in Pulau Payar
An MMEA patrol boat, Patrol vessel 41, had gone to the scene after receiving a report on the incident about 10.45 pm.
Fifteen anglers are feared missing after a boat carrying them capsized about 10 nautical miles south of Pulau Payar, about an hour's boat ride from here, last night.
According to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Public Relations unit here today, an MMEA patrol boat, Patrol vessel 41, had gone to the scene after receiving a report on the incident about 10.45 pm.
Another one MMEA boat, two boats from the Marine Police Force and several fishing boats were also involved in the search and rescue operation after the boat and victims remained missing until this morning. READ: 'Missing' anglers found, safe and sound
