1,500 motorcyclists get free Aidilfitri petrol from Terengganu MB

About 1,500 motorcycle riders enjoyed free petrol via Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman at the Kampung Duyong Shell station in Seberang Takir near here today.

The programme, 'Jom Isi Minyak Raya Cikgu Razif Belanja' over two hours brought cheer to local residents in conjunction with Aidilfitri tomorrow.

It was organised for the first time on the initiative of the Seberang Takir UMNO Youth coordinator involving an overall cost of RM75,000 with each motorcyclist getting petrol worth RM5.

The coordinating chairman, Nik Mohd Faridzal Nik Jaafar said to organise the free petrol programme, several committee members of UMNO Youth here were assigned to assist at the station installed with four petrol pumps.

"This is our first programme held to assist the people, especially motorcyclists with free fuel. We hope to make this as an annual programme in future," he told reporters here today.
