17 highways offer discounts, five give rebate for Aidilfitri

Seventeen highways will be offering discounts and rebates of between five and 37.5 per cent in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration from Aug 7 to 9.

Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof said five highways will be offering 20 per cent toll rebate to consumers in class 1 vehicles and toll paid electronically on Aug 5 to 6 and from Aug 14-15.

"The amount and period for discounts and rebate vary according to the respective concessionaire," he said at the launch of a road safety campaign at Persada PLUS, here, Thursday.

He said the highways involved are Lebuhraya Guthrie, LKSA, AKLEH, SMART, KESAS, KL-KARAK, LPT 1, DUKE, NPE, NNKSB, MEX, BESRAYA, LEKAS, SDE, SKVE, LDP and SPRINT.

The five highways offering rebates are PLUS, SPDH, ELITE, BKE and LINKEDUA, he said.
