18 people who hold vigil for Adam Adli in front of Jinjang police station arrested

Eighteen people including four women who held a protest gathering in front of the Jinjang police station where pro-opposition student activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim is held, were arrested on Wednesday after they failed to follow police order to disperse.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief, Datuk Ku Chin Wah in his SMS text to Bernama said a group of people had started to gather in front of the police station at 8pm but were told to disperse after 10 minutes.
He said the entry road to the police station had also been closed.
Adam Adli, an undergraduate of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) was suspended from his studies after be tore down flags bearing the image of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at the Putra World Trade Centre during an anti-government demonstration last Dec 17.
On May 18, he was arrested under the Sedition Act and is also being investigated under the Penal Code.
