1MDB: Police will call up Jho Low if its necessary - Ahmad Zahid

Police will call up businessman Jho Low if there is a need for him to assist in the probe into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The police to date, have not met Jho Low on the matter, he said.

"The police through the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Department is investigating 1MDB under Section 409 of the Penal Code for criminal breach of trust and the probe into 1MDB includes the Public Accounts Committee's findings," he said in a written reply to Sim Tze Tzin (PKR-Bayan Baru) at the Parliament today.

Tze Tzin wanted to know if Jho Low is in the country and whether he had met the police regarding the 1MDB investigation.
