2 men including Thai national die in Tapah Road accident

Two men including a Thai national perished in an accident at Kilometre 354, North-South Expressway, northbound before the Ladang Bikam lay-by, last night.
District police chief Supt Som Sak Din Keliaw said Huen Chee Hon, 30, and the Thai who had not been identified were in the front passenger seat and back seat respectively, of a Toyota Vellfire.
Both victims died at the scene in the incident at 9.47pm, he said when contacted here today.
He said the driver of the vehicle, Lim Wai Siong, 33, was believed to have failed to avoid hitting the back of a lorry which had suddenly veered to the right lane from the left.
Lim sustained minor injuries while the driver of the lorry escaped unhurt. The bodies were sent to Tapah Hospital for post mortem, said Som Sak. -- Bernama
