About 200,000 visitors were mesmerized by the glittering parade of 15 flotillas at the Magic of the Night throughout the nine nights of the event.
The fourth edition of the parade, themed “Colours of Harmony' involved 15 flotillas from different states and organisations, each representing their own unique attractions with lighted decorations.
Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said Magic of the Night truly embodied the heart and soul of the country’s attractions, culture and heritage as displayed through creative interplay of light, colour and creativity.
"The location in Marina Putrajaya, set against the silhouette of Putrajaya’s iconic landmarks, proffers a truly memorable panorama that will surely linger in the minds of all visitors for a long time,” he said at the closing ceremony of Magic of the Night 2014 here tonight.
“I am pleased to inform you that the response for Magic of the Night 2014 has really been overwhelming," he said, adding that feedback from the tourists and visitors had been positive.
He said his ministry also anticipated many more editions of the event in the years ahead.
