2014 SPM results out on March 3

The results of the 2014 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be announced on March 3, the Education Ministry said today.

It said in a statement that students can obtain their results at their schools after 10am.

Private candidates will get their results by mail, it said, adding that they can also get them from the state education departments where they had registered for the examination.

The ministry is also making available a facility to find out the results via SMS by typing SPM "space" identity card number "space" index number and sending to 15888.

This SMS service will be activated at 10 am on March 3 and will be terminated at 11.59pm on March 9, the ministry said.

It said the announcement of the 2014 SPM results analysis will be made at 9am on March 3 at the Main Meeting Room, Level 6, Block E8, Government Complex Parcel E, Putrajaya.

A total of 455,839 candidates sat for the SPM examination last year at 3,655 centres throughout the country.
