The skeletal remains of 22 more people, believed to be victims of human trafficking, were brought down from the Bukit Wang Burma forest.
The skeletal remains of 22 more people, believed to be victims of human trafficking, were brought down from the Bukit Wang Burma forest, Wang Kelian in Perlis, near the Malaysia-Thailand border.
Inspector-General of Police Secretariat assistant head (Corporate Communications) ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad said the skeletons were sent to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar, Kedah, at 9.45 pm yesterday for examination by pathologist.
This brings to 35 the number of bodies recovered, she said in a statement today.

She said the operation to dig for more human remains at identified locations would continue.
Last Monday, Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar announced the discovery of 139 graves at 28 human trafficking transit camps located between Kampung Wai and Tangga 100 Felcra in Perlis.
