Police seized 35 motorcycles during the anti-reckless driving operation, dubbed ''Op Samseng Jalanan'', held along the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR), here yesterday.
North Seberang Prai OCPD ACP Azmi Adam said throughout the operation mounted from 5 pm yesterday to 2 am today, police stopped 510 motorcyclists and questioned 93 individuals.
"Sixty police personnel were involved in the operation and 230 summonses were issued for various traffic offences, he said.
Six enforcement staff from the Department of Environment (DOE) and four from Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) also participated in the operation, he added.
