397 people still at seven PPS in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: The number of flood victims in the Telupid and Paitan districts has not changed much with 397 people from 119 families still at seven relief centres (PPS) as of 8 am today, compared to 394 people from 118 families last night.
The Sabah Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, in a statement, said 340 of the victims, involving 100 families, are at five PPS in Telupid, while 57 others (19 families) are at two PPS in Paitan.
Telupid and Paitan are districts in the interior of Sabah located over 200 kilometres and 230 kilometres, respectively, from Kota Kinabalu.
