455,929 to sit for UPSR exam

A total of 455,929 pupils will sit for the 2015 Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination over three days beginning Sept 8, said the Ministry of Education.
It said in a statement that 446,511 of the candidates were from government and government-aided schools and 9,418 from private schools.
A total of 8,134 examination centres will be set up nationwide for the examination that will be supervised by 49,655 officials, it said.
The Examinations Syndicate reminded all candidates to refer to their examinations schedule and adhere to the reminders, it said.
The examinations schedule can be downloaded from the syndicate website at www.moe.gov.my.
