5 Things Every Girl Should Learn From Taylor Swift

Blessed with singing and songwriting talent and a willowy, model like 5 feet 9 frame, Taylor Swift is a role model for young women everywhere. She has never been caught stumbling outside a bar sloshed or faced a wardrobe malfunction – also she is known as “Miss Popular” as evidenced by her gaggle of very renowned girlfriends.
Here are the 5 things all girls should learn from Taylor Swift:
Stop worrying about what people think
Her 1989 album, is based on her learning to care less about what people thought about her, because if you think about it, aren’t the people who are living their lives without worrying about other people’s thoughts having more fun than those judging them? She reminds us to let go of those who hate and those who put us down instead of bringing us up.
Surround yourself with real friends
Taylor Swift is known to have a multitude of friends and is known to host impromptu dance parties or play games of pool. Her famous besties like Jamie King, Selena Gomez, Odeya Rush and Hailee Steinfeld all appear to enjoy her company and Swift doesn’t let their fame (or hers) get in the way of establishing bonds with other women. Choose friends that have their own passion in life and who are zealous and successful.
Update your style
Swift did not just change her music, her personal style has gone through noteworthy metamorphosis as well. She has donned ceaseless supply of fluffy white confections in the past and today she is associated with an Audrey Hepburn-esque look – black turtleneck, winged eyeliner and a classic red lipstick which appears way more refined.
Love who you are!
It’s definitely hard to not care at all about what others think about you, but it’s important to focus on your uniqueness and awesome personality – “your muchness”, instead of worrying about what others think or say about you. Taylor Swift has mentioned that we have to be glad with who we are and the choices we make and that is extremely true. Life can be romantic without having romance, so stay attracted to being happy.
Do What Makes You Happy
Swift is well-known for being a homebody and enjoying ice cream, particularly while watching TV. She fancies spending time with her cats than going out partying, which isn’t common for someone her age. But it’s something that makes her happy and she fights for those moments. So it’s more than alright being yourself, even if it’s not considered “cool” or conventional.Above all else, have fun! Life is too short to dress boring! So learn to rock the look you love and take some lessons from Tay Tay, but make it your own.

If any negativity clouds your mind, in the wise words of Miss Swift, Shake It Off!
