KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 509 individuals were detained for violating SOP and out of that number, 466 were compounded, 39 remanded with four of them guaranteed.
Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said it was the result of 64,442 inspections conducted by the Compliance Operations Task Force led by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), yesterday.
Among the offenses recorded were cross-district / state without permission (120), failure to provide equipment / self-recording / customer (111), no physical imprisonment (95), gambling activities (54), not wearing face mask (49), activities entertainment centers (37), leaving the house without a reasonable reason (11), premises operating overtime / without permission (8) and others (24), "he said in a daily media statement, on Monday.
Meanwhile, a total of 10,288 foreigners underwent the COVID-19 screening test and of that number, nine were found to be positive.
Cumulatively, a total of 437,211 foreign workers underwent the COVID-19 screening test.
Of these, 7,852 people were confirmed positive.
