Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a statement said out of the total, 511 individuals were compounded, four remanded and four more were bailed.
Among the offences include failing to comply with physical distancing (206), not wearing face mask (126), failing to provide equipment or personal details (67), premises operating overtime (23), entertainment centre activities (9), and others (88)," he said.
He said six illegal immigrants were also detained through Ops Benteng and three land vehicles were seized.
In fact, he said, the PDRM-led Operations Compliance Task Force conducted 53,389 inspections yesterday to monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
Ismail also informed that a total of 62,490 individuals have returned to the country through the international border entrance since July 24 until yesterday and have been placed in gazetted quarantine centres.
Commenting on the monitoring of essential goods, Ismail said the Enforcement Division of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) had made daily monitoring of 12 types of supply of goods in 681 business premises including retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers.
"Overall, the supply of essential goods is sufficient and able to meet the needs of the country which is continuous and easily available.
"KPDNEHP enforcement officers have also conducted 1,382 special RMCO SOP Compliance inspections and found that 1,380 premises complied with the prescribed SOPs while two premises were advised for non-compliance with SOPs," he said.
