A six-year-old girl was reportedly raped by her babysitter's 11-year-old stepson in Alor Gajah.
According to The Star today, the police are investigating the case which may involve one of the youngest rapist in the country.
The incident reportedly occurred when the babysitter went to the grocery store nearby.
The babysitter’s neighbour who only wanted to be known as Shima, told The Star that she went into the house through the back door, when she realizes the house was unusually quiet.
Shima said the girl suddenly came rushing out of a room partially naked, crying and looked stunned,” she said.
She said after calming the girl down, she searched the house and found the boy hiding behind another room’s door, wearing only a pants.
Even though the boy told Shima that he was getting ready for a religious class, Shima suspected something amiss and called the girl’s mother.
The Star also reported that the girl told her mother that the boy lain on her, and she felt severe pain in her private parts.
The mother lodged a police report and the case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.
