62 flood victims in Melaka as of 4pm
The weather in Melaka at present was reported to be good, Effendy said.
The number of flood victims in Melaka has declined to 62 as of 4 pm from 74 people at noon after 12 people from two families were allowed to return to their homes.
Melaka Disaster Managment Committee Secretariat head Lt Col (PA) Effendy Ali said all the victims from 15 families are still being housed at two relief centres in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tehel and Seri Mendapat Community Hall.
The weather in Melaka at present was reported to be good, Effendy, who is also Melaka Civil Defence Force director, said in a statement here today.
