The police detained 76 men linked to drug-related activities during a four-day operation beginning Feb 6, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
State narcotics CID chief Supt Mit Emong said the police also seized an assortment of drug worth about RM30,000 in the operation.
He said among the drugs seized were 1,664 'horse' pills (methamphetamine), syabu (9.6gm), heroin (10gm), ganja (one gramme), Erimin-5 tablets and 32 cough pills.
Speaking to reporters at the state police contingent headquarters here on Sunday, he said a car used to distribute and traffick in drugs was also seized in the operation.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 30, have been remanded to facilitate investigations.
In another operation, the police detained a man and seized 600 'horse' pills worth RM12,000 during a raid in Jalan Kelochor here on Thursday.
Mit said the 33-year-old suspect was picked up in front of a restaurant about 8.30pm.
He said a car worth RM70,000 and a RM4,000 motorcycle were seized from the suspect who was remanded for seven days, beginning Feb 12.
