877 arrested for violating SOP, these are five important points from Ismail Sabri's media statement

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 877 individuals were arrested for flouting the Movement Control Order (MCO) SOP and out of that number, 806 were compounded while 71 were remanded, said Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Among the offences recorded were failure to comply with physical distancing instructions (253), cross-state / district without permission (177), entertainment centre activities (101), not wearing face mask (98), failure to provide equipment to record customer details (82) and others (166).
Here are five important points of Datuk Seri Ismail's media statement on February 14:
1) A total of 2,910 compliance teams involving 14,071 members have monitored 4,212 supermarkets, 5,630 restaurants as well as 2,385 hawkers, 1,570 factories, 3,650 banks and 664 government offices.
2) Op Benteng has arrested 45 illegal immigrants (PATI) and five skippers and seized eight land vehicles.
3) A total of 73 sanitation operations have been conducted covering 31 red zones, orange zones and five yellow zones nationwide.
4) A total of 494 individuals arrived at all international entrances and all were quarantined at quarantine stations across the country.
5) KPDNHEP has conducted 746 daily monitoring on 11 types of supply of goods comprising retailers (590), wholesalers (125) and manufacturers (31).
