Abdul Khalid will reply to show cause letter tonight

Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim will respond to the show cause letter issued by PKR’s disciplinary committee tonight in response to numerous allegations against him.

In an interview with news portal The Malaysian Insider, Abdul Khalid gave his assurance that he will make his response public to the media tomorrow at 10am.

PKR disciplinary committee chairman Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong said, Abdul Khalid is required to explain his role and decisions pertaining five issues.

Firstly, on the restructuring of the Selangor water industry, Menteri Besar's new allowance and the hike in business licenses in the state.

The other two issues are on the Kinrara-Damansara Expressway (Kidex) development and Bank Islam debt settlement deal.

The party’s disciplinary board had instructed Abdul Khalid to attend a 3pm hearing at its headquarters tomorrow.
