Inspector-general of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that action will be taken against the woman who threatened an elderly man using a steering lock which occurred at the parking lot in UTC Kuantan on Monday.
“That should not be the way to resolve the issue and law cannot be taken into your own hands,” said Khalid to reporters at an event held here today.
Khalid said he had viewed the footage and it was clear that the lady was a raging road bully and a police report will be taken against her.
“It doesn't matter if the man has lodged a police report or not. We will take action against the lady," said Khalid.
In the video, the woman was seen screaming at an elderly man, calling him names and banging the bonnet of his car with a steering lock after he allegedly hit the back of the car, despite his repeated appeals that it was unintentional.
Since the video was uploaded on Facebook on Tuesday, the video went viral.
Understandably, Netizens have been quick to criticize the woman's action, who also allegedly made derogatory remarks against the man's race
It is reported that the elderly man has offered his forgiveness to the woman.
