Activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim and #KitaLawan secretariat Mandeep Singh are likely to be released from the Jinjang police lock-up Tuesday evening.
Adam Adli's father, Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid said his son has given three statements to the police today, and another one will be given tomorrow.
"Adam gave statements for three cases today and he will give another one tomorrow.
"Whereas Mandeep has given statements for two cases today and another one tomorrow. God-willing, if everything goes well, both of them will be released tomorrow evening,” said Abdul Halim to reporters in front of the Dang Wangi district police headquarters Monday.
Adam Adli and Mandeep Singh were arrested at the weekly rally held outside the Sogo Shopping Complex last Saturday evening and brought to the Jinjang police lock-up.
The #KitaLawan rally was held in support of Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who was jailed after being found guilty of sodomising his former aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, seven years ago.
