Adam Rosly remanded for five days, investigated for 'unusual' wealth

Ampang PKR’s Youth chief, Datuk Adam Rosly has been remanded for five days to assists in investigations into his ‘unusual wealth’.
The 28-year-old was represented by lawyers Nik Zarith Nik Moustpha and Asyraf Othman.
Earlier, he arrived at the magistrate’s Court here today for his remand hearing at 9.25am.
Magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Wan Ab Rahman issued the remand order, which takes effect today.
The remand order expires on April 18.
Yesterday, Adam was questioned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for several hours regarding his unusual wealth. His abundance of
MACC deputy chief commissioner (Operations), Datuk Azam Baki had earlier said that Adam was being investigated under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLATFA) 2001.
