Merely a day after Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar was remanded, her younger sister Nurul Nuha had been summoned by the police to record her statement pertaining to the anti-government #KitaLawan rallies.
According to PKR Communications Director, Fahmi Fadzil, the date and time of the recording has yet to be determined.
“Nurul Nuha was not at the Dang Wangi police headquarters … but the date hasn’t been determined as stated in my earlier message.
“I have contacted her counsel and I can confirm that she was not the police station,” said Nurul Izzah when contacted by Astro AWANI today.
Nurul Nuha, who is the second daughter of Opposition Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, was reportedly held under Section 143 of the Penal Code for organising unlawful rallies.
Meanwhile, Subang PKR member, S Jayathas was reportedly arrested at the Dang Wangi police station at approximately 3pm, here today.
According to Fahmi, Jayathas attended with his lawyer, Sivamalar Genapathy to assist in the investigation pertaining to the #KitaLawan rally.
He said, the police have promised to release Jayathas at 10pm today considering his health condition.
Jayathas is the 10th individual detained in relation to the #KitaLawan weekly rallies, which have been held in front of SOGO shopping complex since February 10.
