Ahmad Bashah breaks into tears at mother's grave

Unable to control himself, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah today teared up at his late mother's grave at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Alor Merah.
Ahmad Bashah spent about 30 minutes visiting the grave of late Che Liah Hassan after the swearing-in ceremony at Istana Anak Bukit, earlier today.
Che Liah had passed away in June, 2013.
Ahmad Bashah was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Hizam Awang Ahmad and their children.
At the tahlil prayers at the graveyard, Ahmad Bashah was unable to control his tears and had teared up. He was given a handkerchief to wipe his tears.
The Bakar Bata state assemblyman was sworn in as the new Menteri Besar today replacing Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
Kedah State Secretary Datuk Bakar Din named Ahmad Bashah as the new MB on Wednesday following Mukhriz's resignation as the MB with immediate effect after losing the support of the majority of the Kedah State Assembly.
The 66-year-old took his oath before the Kedah Council of Regency, chaired by Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah
