The Communications and Multimedia Minister said his presence would be to give clarification on the K-Pop issue which was raised in the 2012 Auditor-General's Report.
"I have offered my presence to the PAC to give an explanation. I am prepared to explain to them on the K-Pop issue raised in the Auditor-General's report," Shabery Cheek, who was former Youth and Sports Minister, told Bernama today.
It is learnt that Ahmad Shabery is the first minister offering to give an explanation to PAC on the issue.
PAC which convenes tomorrow would call the Youth and Sports Ministry to clarify the issue raised in the Auditor-General's Report.

According to the 2012 Auditor-General's Report, the Youth and Sports Ministry had spent RM2.94 million on the event, including the payment for K-Pop artistes from South Korea for their performance.
The three K-Pop artistes who performed were U-Kiss, Teen-Top and Dal Shabet.
Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate Shabery Cheek over the expenditure on the National Youth Day celebration last year.
