Ali Rustam slams opposition over caricatures

Melaka chief minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam has slammed the opposition over flyers depicting him and other Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the form of caricatures, which were being circulated in the state.

Describing the cartoons as an attempt at character assassination, he said this reflected the immaturity of the opposition.

"The opposition is desperate and stooping to this level in trying to garner votes,' he told reporters here today.

The Melaka BN chief said the flyers also contained lies about the state government.
