All 120 vape outlets in Johor close shop - Police
Police said they will continue with their monitoring to ensure that there was no sale of vape, including online.
All the 120 vape outlets in Johor have closed shop following a royal decree prohibiting the sale of vape in the state effective Jan 1 this year.
Johor Police chief Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said the Johor Narcotics CID chief had confirmed the closure of the outlets.
Although all the premises have closed, the police would continue with their monitoring to ensure that there was no sale of vape, including online, he told reporters after the Johor Police monthly assembly here.
The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, had issued a decree prohibiting the sale of vape in the state from Jan 1.
