KUALA LUMPUR: All Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) members of Parliament (MPs) have agreed not to support the 2021 Budget tabled by the government on November 6.
Its president, Mohamad Sabu said that the decision was in line with the stand made by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) leadership.
"That is what we are talking about in Parliament, the Opposition Leader has said that if we want to support, some things must be amended.
"We, the Pejuang party has spoken, UMNO also spoke about some things that need to be amended to get support. We are with PH (not to support)," he said when met here today.
Apart from that, Mohamad Sabu or Mat Sabu said the 2021 Budget did not meet some of the demands submitted by Pakatan Harapan.
Meanwhile, Amanah also announced today to retain Asmuni Awi as the party’s election director for the 15th General Election.
