All ministries should implement corruption risk management - MACC
So far officers from 22 ministries and agencies had received CRM training from the MACC.
The national-level Integrity and Governance Committee (JITU) which met Tuesday, has urged all ministries to implement Corruption Risk Management or CRM.
In a statement issued by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in conjunction with the meeting, it said CRM was the best approach in fighting corruption and improving the governance and integrity of government bodies.
"CRM is a management tool that can help create a management system that is free of corruption, and one which values integrity.
"CRM is implemented taking into account corruption as a basic risk in any management, so a system of good governance and integrity can be created through the Corruption Risk Management Plan," it said.
According to the statement, so far officers from 22 ministries and agencies had received CRM training from the MACC.
