Allegation on officers caught planting mosquito larvae in water tank being investigated
The Negeri Sembilan Health Department is in the midst of investigating the allegation that two of its officers had poured mosquito larvae into a water tank while inspecting a car workshop in Bahau.
Director-General of Health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement here today said the ministry viewed seriously the report involving the alleged misconduct of the two officers.
"If the report was proven true, the Negeri Sembilan Health Department is advised to take disciplinary action against the two officers," he said.
It is reported that two officers were caught on closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) pouring mosquito larvae into the water tank of a car workshop in Kwang Hup industrial area in Bahau, framing the owner, and leading him into giving the inspection team a bribe.
