Controversial sex blogger Alvin Tan Jye Yee has yet again sparked outrage among Muslims with a video of an 'R&B' cover lampooning the azan or the Muslim call to prayer.
The two-minute-and-50-second clip posted on his Facebook page features a footage of himself topless donning a pair of sunglasses and tattooed chest, reciting an appalling version of the azan playing the keyboard.
"And please don't badger me about the wrong lyrics... First, this is a cover, so creative modification is permitted. Second, I ain't a suicide bomber aight," said the fugitive blogger the Facebook post.
Claiming that the video was dedicated to God (Allah), the 26-year-old Tan said his aim is to get all mosques in Malaysia to play his cover instead of the azan being recited by the bilal or muezzin.

Alvin, who grabbed headlines as one half of the controversial duo known as Alvivi, had also shown no trace remorse despite being slammed by Muslims all over the world especially in Malaysia on the series of below-the-belt and uncouth postings insulting the religion on his Facebook page.
In July 2013, Tan and his former girlfriend, Vivian Lee had stirred anger among Malaysian Muslims after uploading a picture of them eating bak kut teh (a pork soup dish) with the caption, “Selamat Berbuka Puasa with Bak Kut Teh”.
The two were then charged with sedition for their actions where Tan subsequently fled to the United States last year, after disclosing he applied for asylum there.
