Annuar Musa claims audio recording resembling voices of Anwar Ibrahim, Zahid Hamidi genuine

PUTRAJAYA: Former UMNO secretary -general Tan Sri Annuar Musa claimed that the audio recording of conversations between two individuals who resembled the voices of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is genuine.
He said, after listening to the audio recording more than 10 times, he was convinced that the voice belonged to Ahmad Zahid and Anwar.
“I tried listening a few times last night and as someone who is very close with both individuals, voice recognition is not going to be a complicated thing.
"I am able to differentiate the voice of someone who is trying to imitate and a person’s real voice.
“Frankly, as far as recognising, after listening to it more than 10 times, I'm 100 per cent sure those are genuine voices, not made-up by people," he said in a press conference after the launch of Bandar Pintar Federal Territory Smart (MySmart Region 2030) Blueprint here, on Thursday.
