Annuar Musa expresses interest to join Pas, says Takiyuddin

PAS Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan has confirmed that Tan Sri Annuar Musa, former federal minister and will be joining PAS.

Takiyuddin revealed that Annuar had informed them of his decision during Ramadan and that the PAS central leadership has no objections to the move

The Kota Bharu MP said the decision of whether Annuar will participate in the state election is a separate matter.

Annuar is considered a big political figure in Kelantan, and his entry into PAS is expected to give the party a stronger foothold and influence in the upcoming state election.

In the meantime, Takiyuddin noted that for former Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, who was also dismissed from Umno, has yet to provide a clear answer to the offers made to him.

He clarified that any Malaysian who is not a member of a political party can join PN as an associate member, subject to the PN Supreme Council's approval.

Takiyuddin also revealed that PN has received more than 20 requests from former Umno leaders to join the coalition.
