Annuar Musa gives statement to Mara
The UMNO information chief turned up at the Mara headquarters here at 10.30am to provide his statement to the agencys internal audit committee.
Tan Sri Annuar Musa has been called up Mara (Majlis Amanah Rakyat) today to give his statement over the alleged involvement in misappropriation of funds and abuse of power relating to the sponsorship for the Kelantan football team.
The UMNO information chief turned up at the Mara headquarters here at 10.30am to provide his statement to the agency’s internal audit committee.
Before this, Annuar who is also the Ketereh MP, was asked to go on a ‘temporary leave’ to allow internal investigations after Mara Council held a special meeting on Jan 31.
He was suspended as Mara and Pelaburan Mara Bhd (PMB) chairman with immediate effect to enable investigation on the allegation of his involvement in the sponsorship of The Red Warriors team.
Last February, Annuar was also called up by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) along with eight others to give their statements on the issue.
