Anwar Ibrahim's father passes away
In her Facebook post, Dr Wan Azizah said her father-in-law is expected to be buried at Sg Raman cemetery after Zuhur prayers.
Jailed leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s father, Datuk Ibrahim Abd Rahman passed away at 1.45am early this morning.
According to PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, his remains will be brought to Lot 459, Pinggir Pelangi Pagi, Country Heights, Kajang.
In her Facebook post, Dr Wan Azizah said her father-in-law is expected to be buried at Sg Raman cemetery after Zuhur prayers.
“The first time Anwar was jailed, he was tested with his mother’s death and the death of Ustaz Fadhil Noor. This time he is tested with the death of Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and his father,” she wrote.
Anwar is currently serving his five-years sentence at Sungai Buloh prison for sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Azlan Bukhari.
