APCs, helicopters making their ways to Lahad Datu

The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) has summoned at least 12 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) to further strengthen the security forces in the ongoing Ops Daulat here.
Armed Forces chief Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said the APCs are currently on its way to Lahad Datu.
“Tomorrow, a few helicopters will also be arriving here from our Army Aviation team,” he said at a press conference in Felda Sahabat 16 today.
Zulkefeli said this move is to ensure Sabahans that ATM is completely equipped and had the strength to defeat the Sulu gunmen.
Meanwhile, Zulkefeli the security forces has killed four Sulu intruders in yeterday’s gunbattle in Sungai Nyamuk.
“Yesterday, we found two bodies. Today we found the remaining two. We also found a rifle and a Colt .45 a few hundred meters from the area where the gunbattle took place.
“We believe the enemies used the rifle to attack our fallen soldier yesterday,” he said adding that the findings were made during the mopping operation in Sungai Nyamuk which started around 7.15am.
He also said the operation to track down the enemies has been expanded in Sungai Nyamuk and the area is expected to be fully mopped up by tomorrow.
He added that they were no gunfights today.
“The enemies have broken themselves into small groups and now is a matter of enforcing our intelligence to detect these people,” he said.
