Argentina loses 0-1 to Germany, Khairy trolled on Twitter

KUALA LUMPUR: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin became the laughing stock on Twitter after Argentina lost 0-1 to Germany in the 2014 World Cup final. Khairy, who had previously announced he was a big Argentina fan, was sporting enough to retweet the photo, which had been edited by a Twitter user showing him crying.

The photo was uploaded at 5:49am today, has gained nearly 4,800 'retweets' and 1,290 'favorites'.

Khairy became the laughing stock among his followers after he predicted that Argentina will win this year's World Cup.

Khairy was also made fun of by his boss, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak immediately after the final whistle.
