The Non-Pensionable Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association (PVATMTB) expressed support for efforts made by the government to address threat by the Daish militant group in the country.
Its president, Ismail Abidin, said PVATMTB is prepared to work with the security forces and use the experience of its members to curb the problem.
He said this in response to a statement by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein two days ago on efforts made by the security forces to address the Daish threat.
Hishamuddin said various efforts were made to address the problem, including working with other ASEAN member countries.
PVATMTB has almost 200,000 members nationwide.
