Astro AWANI bags two more trophies at Seri Angkasa Award 2016

Astro AWANI bagged two more trophies at the Seri Angkasa Award 2016 on Saturday, after receiving the Special Jury Award last night.

AWANI's Executive Editor, Kamarul Bahrin Haron won both trophies for Best TV Journalist and Best TV Host.

Kamarul when met after receiving the awards, said he dedicated his win for all Astro AWANI staff.

"I also dedicate this win to our loyal followers and fellow Malaysians," he said.

He won the Best TV Journalist award for his exclusive interview with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, while the Best TV Host award goes to his special programme on MH370.

On Friday, Astro AWANI producer Azlina Md Salim recieved the Special Jury Award via her special report entitled 'Syawal Tanpamu' (Syawal Without You).
