Nine days after its launch, Astro AWANI’s has secured the top position for App Store’s News Application (App) category among iPad and iPhone users.

The App has been ranked second place for Androids.

Launched on May 1, users will be able to surf the latest main news available on www.astroawani.com official page be it in English or in Bahasa Malaysia.

During GE13 on May 5, users were able to get the latest information and results.

Apart from the latest national news, business, sports, entertainment and the happenings around the world are also available.

Live Astro AWANI channel via video streaming is also available. Among others, the application offers photo and video galleries, which showcases the programmes and news snippets.

The U Wartawan section allows users to share photos and videos as part of Astro AWANI’s effort to promote citizen journalism.
